Our client

Our client is an internationally operating and continuously growing group of companies. The family-run group includes an independent subsidiary located in the Prague area, which distributes a wide range of composite materials in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. For this subsidiary with its approx. 15-20 employees our client is looking for an ambitious

Sales Manager/ Director Composites as future Managing Director (m/f/d)

The position is to be filled due to the regulation of the age succession of the current Managing Director. You will take over his role within the next 2 years and will receive a comprehensive induction programme to ensure you are well prepared for your future role.

Tasks

  • In collaboration with the current Managing Director, you are responsible for key account management as well as the development, implementation and monitoring of partnership agreements.
  • You define sales targets, work independently on optimising sales processes and keep senior management informed about the status of target achievement.
  • You are involved in selection processes for new products and suppliers and participate in the preparation and implementation of marketing activities.
  • Your tasks also include working with various industry organizations/associations, participation in audits and monitoring the market.

Ideal qualification

  • You have completed a degree in business, chemistry, or a related technical field, or possess a comparable qualification.
  • You have several years of relevant sales experience, coupled with strong business acumen and negotiating skills.
  • You are familiar with technical and chemical products; experience in the field of composites is a plus but not a must.
  • You are a strong networker, demonstrate leadership qualities, and possess excellent English communication skills.
